HP Purchases Melodeo - Sign of Upcoming Music Service

HP announced this week that it had purchased Melodeo Cloud Music Service.

Meoldeo, a cloud based music service has developed programs that allow users to listen to music from their iTunes library on mobile devices.

It is expected that HP made the purchase with an eye toward creating a streaming, cloud based music service for the WebOS. Experts believe most music services will eventually move to a cloud based streaming model, rather than actual downloads.
